BiodivOcean project is an Erasmus+ project that fosters ocean literacy and awareness of marine biodiversity through innovative education and citizen science.
We are excited to announce an upcoming Teacher Symposium on Ocean Literacy, which will take place between the 30th of June and the 2d of July of 2025 in Barcelona. The symposium aims to combine hands-on workshops, co-creation sessions, and expert talks on topics such as ocean literacy, inclusivity, invasive species, microplastics, and citizen science.
Participants will collaborate in the development of new educational materials and exchange ideas and strategies to foster ocean literacy in schools. The participation is free of charge, and there is the possibility of obtaining a scholarship to cover travel expenses.
