“Diving into the World of Plankton” is a free 3-hour professional development workshop for secondary school science teachers across the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. In small groups, participants use the portable “Curiosity” microscope and examine live plankton samples via their phones or tablets. The session covers marine biodiversity, microscope techniques, trophic interactions and ready-to-use classroom materials (available in multiple languages on Zenodo).
