The European Blue Schools: Aiming for UNESCO’s Ambitious Ocean Literacy Goals in School Curricula,” is a satellite event, as part of the UNESCO Ocean Decade Conference. This event is a collaborative effort by the ProBleu, SHORE, BlueLightS Consortia Coalition, and EMSEA to integrate ocean literacy into European school curricula by 2025, marking a significant step towards the Ocean Decade’s objectives.

This event aims to foster ocean literacy, ensuring future generations understand the crucial relationship between humanity and the ocean. Featuring insights from leading project coordinators and discussions on the European Blue Schools initiative, it promises to advance sustainable marine education globally.

Educators and all interested stakeholders are invited to explore collaborative efforts, challenges, and strategies within the European Blue Schools initiative and contribute to the UNESCO Ocean Decade’s ambitious goals.
