In November 2025, the ProBleu project was represented at two major international conferences in Tokyo by the team from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), showcasing key results on ocean and water literacy among school students and strengthening the project’s international visibility in the fields of education and social research.

At the WAPOR Asia Pacific Eighth Annual Conference (21–23 November 2025), the KTU team presented the poster “Measuring Ocean and Water Literacy Among School Students: Insights from the ProBleu Survey.” The contribution focused on the analysis of data collected through the ProBleu school survey, highlighting how ocean and water literacy can be systematically measured and compared across educational contexts. The presentation demonstrated the relevance of ProBleu data for broader discussions in public opinion research, environmental awareness, and methodological approaches to studying attitudes and knowledge related to oceans and water.

Shortly afterwards, ProBleu was also presented at The 17th Asian Conference on Education (ACE2025) (23–28 November 2025). In this forum, the KTU team showcased the poster “Environmental Education Using an Open Schooling Perspective: Measuring Ocean and Water Literacy Among School Students.” This contribution placed ProBleu results within an open schooling framework, emphasizing innovative educational approaches such as self-directed and inquiry-based learning, personalised learning pathways, collaborative practices, and the growing role of digital and artificial intelligence tools in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes in environmental education.
