We Are Water: Taking care of waters we take care of ourselves

The project’s main aim is to make the School Community (Students, families and teachers) aware of the necessity to take care of fresh waters and oceans by carrying out simple actions in school places. In order to convey the idea that water is life. Through research, experimentation and following the scientific method, students will confirm different water problems and possible solutions.
We will focus on analysing different processes, such as eutrophication, in the laboratory and reflecting on how this process affects freshwater. Students will also become aware that they are an active part of the change and can provide solutions to these problems. This project will raise the school community’s awareness of small acts that can protect the planet, especially the oceans.
WE ARE WATER (WAW) project will introduce the care of water as an essential element of the sustainability of the planet within the school curriculum and will put the school in touch with other Blue Schools through the NEBS.
